“THINK AND LINK” - Regional Policy Programme for Think Tanks and Policy Institutes.
The programme seeks to foster inclusive and evidence-based policy making in the Western Balkans by initiating individual and collaborative research projects on the chosen annual programme topic: “Environmental policy in the Western Balkans – policy legacies, current institutions and European standards”, embedded in a regional seminar programme cycle.
Environment is one of the areas in which all EU applicants face significant challenges in meeting European standards. In scrutinizing conditions in the environmental sector of countries making efforts towards EU integration, it is evident how the accession process affects key policy areas.

ELIGIBILITY
Applications are invited from independent policy institutes and think-tanks that focus on political, economic and social issues from the Western Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia (incl. the UN Administered Territory of Kosovo), organisations and have a proven track record in the process of EU integration.
The policy programme is designed for project grants. It does not offer core funding.
Proposals must be submitted by institutions, not individuals.
