2024 Washington Elections
In addition to voting in the presidential contest between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, voters in Washington will cast ballots for the state’s 10 congressional districts. Voters will also cast a ballot for one of the state’s two Senate seats. The Washington Senate race is between Democrat Maria Cantwell, the incumbent, and Republican Raul Garcia. There are also statewide contests for state government offices. The Washington gubernatorial race is between Democrat Bob Ferguson and Republican Dave Reichert. The contest is for an open seat after Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee announced he would not seek re-election after serving three terms. The race for lieutenant governor in Washington is between Democrat Denny Heck, the incumbent, and Republican Dan Matthews. Only a handful of states elect the lieutenant governor separately from the governor, and Washington is one of them. The attorney general contest in Washington is between Democrat Nick Brown and Republican Pete Serrano.

The expected vote is the total number of votes that are expected in a given race once all votes are counted. This number is an estimate and is based on several different factors, including information on the number of votes cast early as well as information provided to our vote reporters on Election Day from county election officials. The figure can change as NBC News gathers new information.
